Attadale

Leafy, established and close to the river, Attadale is the kind of suburb people tend to settle into rather than simply pass through.

Life in Attadale

There is a lot of open space here, and it changes the feel of the suburb.

The river foreshore, Attadale Reserve, Troy Park and the natural areas around Alfred Cove give residents plenty of room to walk, play sport or spend time outside.

Away from the river, Attadale feels distinctly residential. Quiet streets, established gardens and family homes make up much of the neighbourhood, with local shops and schools woven into everyday life.

A little local context

The area has long been connected to the river and surrounding wetlands, which hold cultural significance for Whadjuk Noongar people.

Later residential development gave Attadale the suburban form we know today, but its relationship with open space remains one of its defining features.

Property in Attadale

There is plenty of variation behind those leafy streets.

Original homes sit beside thoughtful renovations and contemporary builds, while properties closer to the river can carry a very different appeal from those further inland. Land, outlook, orientation and street position all matter here.

Not every property should be treated the same, because they are not.
